Job Description: The ACS Media Developer will provide leadership and technical expertise in the development of academic projects that involve the creation of digital media such as videos, websites, graphics, animations and audio. Academic Computing Services works closely with VC faculty in supporting their instructional technology needs. The ACS Media Developer will help to record and edit videos.
Other projects are likely to emerge that will involve websites, design, 3D printing, drones, and advanced computer software. The ACS Media Developer will quite often have the opportunity to develop creative solutions to unique technology challenges. There will be ample opportunity for learning new software and technology skills. Much of the training will be self directed and needs based. Skills: applicant must demonstrate an aptitude for video/audio editing, web design, and/or using Adobe products.
Job Requirements: No previous campus employment required. Learned skills: image, audio and video editing, graphic design, web development, WordPress, FCPX, Adobe Suite.
