The emphasis of the course is development of a deeper understanding of social psychological research methods. You will learn how to conduct research from start to finish, including how to develop a research question, design a study, collect data, interpret results, and communicate your findings. As you learn the skills to be an effective researcher you will also learn how to be a knowledgeable consumer of research. You will work with your research group to design and run an original study.
