Intro to R
Friday April 6, 3:30 - 5:00, Sci Vis Lab, Bridge Building
This workshop will cover fundamental skills in R. We will cover how to import data sets, how to do descriptive stats (mean, median, mode, standard deviation, etc.), as well as how to do descriptive stats. We will cover basic plotting features in R as well. We will also look at how to perform statistical tests for significance using the R software. In addition, we will cover how to download new packages for the R platform as well as how to install RStudio, in order to make the R experience more user-friendly. These skills will give you a basic understanding of how to use R, and will give you a good foundation that will allow you to learn more complex analyses in R.
